Our Story
It was 2019, having both just ventured into a new career path that neither of us had originally planned, we met during our training.
On our final evening of training at after work drinks, Georgie made her move and broke the ice.
After numerous messages, a first date was secured.
Craig opted for something more casual, Clapham Common, his old stomping ground. In his favourite shirt, Craig waited on the Common for George to arrive.
He carried on waiting, then waited a bit more.
Beginning to think that George had seen sense in meeting a lad from Wolverhampton. George finally appeared. It turns out public transport still isn’t George’s strong point.
Craig then asked George a very important question…
“A drink or an ice cream?”
“Drink” George replied.
The rest is history.
Five years, our first home and one pandemic later, on 24.06.24, Craig asked George to marry him during a surprise birthday trip to The Tawny Hotel with Bentley in tow.
